Deforestation means lowering trees in sizable amount. The causes of deforestation are many. Bangladesh is that the most densely populated country within the world. Its population is far more in proportion to its area. This huge number of population needs more shelter, agricultural land, fuel, furniture etc. For of these reasons people cut trees. Moreover there are some dishonest people that cut trees in our forests to form money. The consequences of deforestation are too many to explain. This destruction disturbs our ecological balance. The existence of animals are getting to be threatened. Thanks to deforestation CO2 is increasing worldwide. As a result, the planet is becoming warmer.

The sea level is rising and lots of parts of the planet goes to be engulfed by the ocean in recent future. On the opposite hand, new areas of the planet are turning into deserts as a results of deforestation. The removal of trees causes birds and other animals living on them to go away the place. It also causes serious damage to the soil, as trees give protection to soil also. Within the end, the soil gets sediment within the river bed and causes frequent floods. So, if we destroy trees randomly, at some point the country will become an excellent desert. All living animals and birds won't find any food or shelter to measure in. they're going to be destroyed. There’ll be no rain and as a result our agriculture will face an excellent crisis.

The temperature will rise and it'll cause atmospheric phenomenon. The country are going to be unsuitable for living and various natural calamities like flood, drought, storm etc. will visit our country. Immediate measures should be taken to stop deforestation. People should be made conscious of tree plantation through mass media. Tree plantation programme should be extended throughout the country.
