WRITE A PARAGRAPH ON A DAY LABORER
Write a paragraph on a day laborer or the lifetime of each
day laborer in 100-150 words supported the subsequent questions. Your answers
to the questions should give the maximum amount details as possible:
(a) Who may be a day laborer?
(b) How does he live?
(c) What does he do every day?
(d) How is his life?
(e) What are his joys and sufferings?
(f) How can his condition be improved?
A day laborer may be a man who works for other’s for/against
money. Doing daily payment basis work he survives his family. He’s a really
hard workman. He has no definite job. Usually each day laborer lives during a
slum or during a hut. He gets up very early within the morning and goes call at
search of labor. He continues his work till the sun sets. Each day laborer
works in an agricultural field, in construction site, in railroad station, a
bus depot, a ferry ghat, launch terminal etc.
Though each day laborer is engaged in heavy manual work,
he's always neglected and is looked down upon in our society. He has got to
struggle for his existence. Each day laborer works under an employer. After a
tough work for the entire day, he goes to the market to shop for some rice and
vegetables. Then he returns home, Food is cooked and he has his meal with the
family. He earns his bread by the sweat of his brow.
If he can't manage work on any day, he has got to starve
together with his family. He doesn't skills to require rest. If he's ill, he
doesn't get proper treatment. He cannot send his children to high school. Each
day Laborer cannot buy good clothes. He’s always ill-fed and ill-clad. When he
becomes old and can't work, he has got to drag a miserable life.
